Sherlock’s Tree & Countryside Services are looking for a reliable, hard-working labourer to join us on an ad-hoc, self-employed basis — roughly 3 days per week, depending on workload.

We are based in Ivybridge.

The Role

You’ll support a range of practical outdoor work, including:

• Grounds maintenance

• Vegetation management

• Habitat creation & ecological contracting

• Assisting with tools, machinery, and site preparation

• Working across both domestic and commercial sites
Work varies week to week, and you’ll be out in some beautiful South Devon locations.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong work ethic and willingness to graft

• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather

• CSCS card preferred

• Experience in grounds work, landscaping, or ecology is helpful but not essential
